Frequently Asked Questions
General Questions
What is Daggertail?
Daggertail is an educational platform that helps you learn through interactive drills. We save your progress automatically, so you can continue practicing at your own pace.
Do I need to create an account?
No account is needed! We use session-based progress tracking, which means your drill progress is saved automatically without requiring registration or login.
Using the Platform
How do I start a drill?
Simply navigate to any question and select an answer. Once selected, you will see the answer immediately, and you will be able to generate a new drill question with the "repeat" button in the upper right. Your progress will be saved automatically as you answer more questions.
Can I resume practicing later?
Yes! Your progress is automatically saved for 30 days. When you return to the same drill using the same browser and device, you'll pick up right where you left off.
What happens if I get a question wrong?
You'll receive immediate feedback with the correct answer indicated. We track both correct and incorrect responses to construct the performance graph on the top left of each drill.
How many questions are there in a drill?
There are unlimited questions in each drill. Each time you press the "repeat" button in the upper right, a new question will be generated based on your previous answers. This helps reinforce learning through repetition, increasing or decreasing the difficulty of the questions according to your progress.
Why are the questions timed?
The questions are timed to simulate real test conditions, where time management is crucial. Generally speaking you should aim to answer each question in under a minute, although the timer may vary for different drills based on their complexity.
Technical Questions
How is my progress saved?
We use session cookies to track your progress. These are small files stored in your browser that allow us to remember your drill answers when you return to the site.
Why did I lose my progress?
Progress might be lost if you:
- Clear your browser cookies
- Use a different browser or device
- Browse in incognito/private mode
- Haven't visited the site in over 30 days
Which browsers are supported?
Daggertail works on all modern browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. We recommend keeping your browser updated for the best experience.
Does Daggertail work on mobile devices?
Yes! Our platform is fully responsive and works on smartphones and tablets. Your progress is saved per device, so drill progress on your phone is separate from progress on your computer.
